How does Face Reflexology work?

Face Reflexology is a unique marriage of three ancient therapies. Facial acupuncture points, Chinese energy meridians and Andean tribal body maps located on the face, are combined in a deeply relaxing and healing treatment that focuses on identifying and balancing the root cause of your health discomfort(s) – not just the symptoms.

All treatment to the face is applied using the finger tips. We use pure Rose Mosqueta oil from South America and an organic blend of aromatherapy cream custom made for Mind Body Positive, in New Zealand .

The First Appointment:
A detailed health history is always obtained from the client on his / her first appointment. Face Analysis is also carried out to assess your current health status and a treatment plan is designed for your needs.

The Treatment:
Every session commences with the stimulation of facial acupuncture points to enervate the nerves and lymphatic and blood circulation of the face.

We then proceed with a series of different treatment procedures on face maps, which represent your 12 major Chinese energy meridians, your physical and psychological aspects.

Through these maps, the brain and nerve system is stimulated and the healing process initiated. Cranial lines and points are also used where appropriated.

Timing:
Treatments last approx 50 minutes. The benefits continue for some days and a course of treatment is advised.
