Reflexology
Reflexology is a therapy recorded
in texts of the ancient Egyptians and Chinese but was rediscovered
as a system of healing, in 1913 by an American, Dr Fitzgerald.
Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive
therapy where gentle pressure is applied to the different surfaces
on the face, hands and feet.
How does it work?
The hands, feet and face can be seen as
mirror images of the body. By stimulating specific areas, Reflexology
can help to restore and maintain the natural healing ability
of the body. A treatment will last approx 50 minutes.
What are the benefits?
Reflexology offers a wide range of benefits,
physiological and psychological for all systems of the body.
Clients have noted that Reflexology reduces stress and muscle
tension, induces a deep sense of relaxation, revitalises energy
bringing back a zest and vitality for life. It also stimulates
mental functioning, promotes detoxification and balances the
emotions.
What can it safely treat ?
Reflexology has
demonstrated its effectiveness in easing
back pain, migraine, sleep disorders, digestive
problems, sports injuries, infertility, hormonal
imbalances, anxiety and respiratory conditions.

Testimonial:
"I really enjoyed my reflexiology treatment
at Mind-Body Positive. I have had face reflexiology for the first
time in my life, and didn't know how it would go, but Nikke Ariff
was wonderful and very reasurring. I soon found myself relaxing
at a very deep level and experiencing extraordinary sensations
on my face. I felt very comfortable throughout the treatment and the soothing
music played in the background transformed me into a different
realm. This treatment was a unique and eye-opening experience and I will
recommend it to my friends." Anna McLeod PA |
